About GSLAD
GSLAD was established in 1947 by a group of Deaf people. Originally, it was named the St. Louis Silent Athletic Club. By the end of 1947, it had 30 members.
In 1974, the organization was renamed the Greater St. Louis Association of the Deaf, Inc.
